Eight Eight sounds like hate,
a number I've heard before,
Was it on a Delorean number plate?
Did Uma Thurman fight The Crazy 88?
Where have I heard that number before?
Eight Eight, sounds like hate
but others will think he is great.
especially the hateful Katie H.
No you are not misreading
88% of Tory ads were misleading
As H is the eight-letter in the alphabet, neo-nazis have taken the numbers 88 to represent HH meaning Heil Hitler.
If you think decoding that is difficult, at least decoding Hs wasn't so hard for Enigma code breakers to understand when they realised that the Germans might sometimes sign coded messages with Heil Hitler.
Well at least if you are to believe the 8ollywood version of code-breaking. It makes sense to me but I would prefer to hear from the boys in Bletchley Park before presuming that actually happened, like it was depicted in the excellent film The Imitation Game.
Of course, you don't need to be Benedict Cumberbatch to figure out the 88 mystery and if you like films like I do then you will be familiar with the Crazy 88 gang from Kill Bill Vol 1.
A little closer to home but still a Hollywood hit, the Back to the Future car had to reach 88mph before it could time travel which apparently was not an easy speed for the Belfast built Delorean to reach.
Travelling back in time to the 80s is not something most people in Belfast want to do but Brexit does promise to be a Titanic success.
88 can represent 8ate and the Metro.co.uk's coverage that 88% of Tory ads were misleading makes me think that Brexit won't be great even if people like Katie Hopkins will celebrate the hate.
