Forget the stork, today I saw a delivery van pull up with a baby seat in the middle of the van’s bench seat. It was 8.30 in the morning which is a little early to be delivering babies.
There might be a rush order on babies this side of Christmas, I don’t know but it is strange to see a delivery van with a baby seat.
There are of course many reasons to need a baby seat such as collecting a child from a childminder or bringing them to their grandparents’ house at the start of the day but many years ago the idea of a man pushing a pram was seen as quite strange whereas today it is perfectly normal but I can’t imagine delivery drivers carrying babies with them as they deliver different products.
Maybe it was a designer baby or was being returned to sender.
