Lockdown Voices Number 19 COVID

Whatever Covid-19 wants to say, I'm all ears.

Lockdown Voices Number 19 could only be given to Coronavirus itself as this "Not yet a Pandemic" "Common Cold" has stalled humanity in its destructive tracks and is making us question how we live and breathe.

Covid-19 has given us pause from the hustle and bustle of our everyday life and hopefully we will learn something from this experience.

There will be huge benefits to take away from Coronavirus and we must claim these positive things and not drown in the death and destruction that Covid-19 has brought to the world and economies.

This pandemic was predictable. We missed warning signs, we ignored others and some governments had mismanaged stockpiles, relying on China to supply PPE, for years.

Even with Coronavirus on our hands, some world leaders have refused masks and gloves despite the important example that could have been given to people looking for the right message from responsible government.

Coronavirus is here to stay if we let it but I am hoping that we will take a hard look at some of the lessons learnt, as we move forward.

Imagine if we screened better for the Common Cold, how many lives would be saved next year?

Stay safe everyone and remember if you hear Coronavirus is in your area,

be respectful, and keep your mouth shut.

A man mid-sneeze. Original CDC caption: "This 2009 photograph captured a sneeze in progress, revealing the plume of salivary droplets as they are expelled in a large cone-shaped array from this man’s open mouth, thereby dramatically illustrating the reason one needs to cover his/her mouth when coughing, or sneezing, in order to protect others from germ exposure."
