Just add a little wine
and of course
some olive oil
Heat a saucepan of water
and bring it to the boil
You say patata, I say potato
but let’s all say gracias
to the farmer and fisherman
who have harvested so much
Add the octopus to the pot
without much fuzz
Add a pitch of salt and paprika
and mix with some olive oil
It tastes great and we might all
enjoy a little more Spanish cuisine
when BREXIT finally boils over
