I promised I wouldn't cry. Bye Don

However you spell Biden, it's time to say Bye Don.

Back before Coronavirus, I was helping out with photographs of the Pete Buttigieg campaign in Madrid and was happy to support Mayor Pete because I thought he had the values needed to unite America. Bernie Sanders is the man, in my opinion but Republicans would be up in arms (More than usual) if a Socialist took office and I saw Pete Buttigieg as this happy medium that America needed.

Biden was not my first choice of Democratic candidates and mightn't even have made by top 5 choices but when I first saw someone posting the comment "Bye Don" on Twitter some months ago, I started to warm to his candidacy and even now the description "Sleepy Joe" has become appealing as the world has finally been able to sleep at night and America has woke up to a cuppa Joe.

The nightmare is not over and somewhere in Washington there is a madman with 7,000 Nuclear warheads planning his revenge, as his former campaign advisor suggests putting Dr Fauci's head on a spike outside the White House.

It is so surreal to finally see the end of Trump but Trumpworld will continue on and 70,000,000 Americans voted for him and his policies.

I welcome Biden and am happy to say Bye Don and this picture by artist Claire Nobles beautifully captures the mascara wearing face that couldn't face wearing a mask during the pandemic.

I have been following the artist and makeup artist Claire Nobles for months now and really appreciate her creativity and philanthropy in allowing people to share her artwork for free. Nobel prize anyone?

She sent me a message yesterday saying:

"WE'RE ALL SCREAMING OVER HERE!!! YASSSS YASSSSSS YASSSSSS!! THANK YOU MY BEAUTIFUL IRISH FRIEND FOR ALL YOUR HELP FIGHTING FOR US!!!!!

YAAAAAY"

To the artists and comedians who won this war. I salute you. Bye Don.

But I hope we haven't heard the last of Claire Nobles
